What happens to your email when you join the Kliner waitlist. Short, because there isn’t much to it.

What is kept

Your email address, when you joined, and which version of the sign-up note you saw. To stop abuse, a one-way hash of your network address is kept for 30 days and then erased. No cookies, no analytics, no trackers.

Why, and on what basis

Only to invite you to the Kliner beta and tell you when it’s your turn. The legal basis is your consent, given when you press Join (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and you can withdraw it at any time. Your address is never sold, rented or used for anything else.

Where

On Kliner’s own server at Websupport in Slovakia (EU). New sign-ups are also posted to the team’s private Discord channel so we notice them; Discord is a US service, and those messages are deleted along with your address if you ask us to erase it.

How long

Until the beta invitations have gone out, or until you ask for it to be deleted, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, and you can unsubscribe from any email with one click. Write to us on Discord or @trykliner and it’s done within 30 days. You can also contact the Slovak data protection authority (dataprotection.gov.sk).

On this device

Your browser remembers for 24 hours that you’ve seen the intro or joined, so the page can skip ahead. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
